These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vehicle Maintenance Tracker Android app ("the App"), published by Joshua Heising. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

The App

The App is a personal record-keeping tool for tracking your vehicles and their maintenance history. It is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

Your data

• Your vehicles, maintenance records, photos, and settings are stored on your device. You are responsible for your own records.
• The optional Google Drive backup is provided as a convenience. While we take reasonable care with it, you should not treat it as your only copy of important data.
• You retain all rights to the data you enter into the App.

Advertising and in-app purchases

• The App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• An optional one-time in-app purchase ("Ad Free") permanently disables advertising in the App. The purchase is tied to the Google account used at the time of purchase and is restored automatically if you reinstall the App on a device signed in to the same account.
• All purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to disrupt its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimer

The App is a record-keeping tool, not a source of professional automotive advice. Maintenance decisions for your vehicles are your own responsibility. Always consult a qualified mechanic for repairs and safety-critical work.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joshua Heising shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this address with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
